"A late night on Princess Street" was recorded by the 'Crispy Duk' trio for the purposes of touring Spain in 2004, where many copies were sold to an ever-growing set of Spanish fans. Having sold out all copies in 2006, the CD has been re-issued due to demand from the UK contingent of the band's followers. It features the usual silky vocals of Paul Bentley, the "left hand bass/right hand piano" versatility of Jeremy Sassoon, and the immaculate rhythm-keeping of Dave Walsh.
The CD is full of character, and typical of the band's 'off the cuff' arrangements, covering tunes from Jazz standards 'Summertime' & 'You don't know what love is' to 'Spinning Wheel' and 'Theme from Taxi'. Watch out for the blistering pace of 'I've got you under my skin'.
