Paul performed alongside Claire Teal with the BBC Big Band in Dec 2007 as part of a series of gigs featuring 'A-list' Jazz singers from the UK and USA. This was aired on Radio 2 in April last year. With his musical roots deeply entrenched in Jazz & Gospel music, he leads the Love and Joy Gospel Choir in Liverpool. He has featured as soloist with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and became the voice of the Got The Go anthem for Liverpools successful Capital Of Culture 2008 bid.
Paul Bentley and Jeremy Sassoon have forged a close musical partnership over 8 years. During this time, they have been performing relentlessly together; They've taken their music to Spain and France as well as appearing regularly in notable Jazz festivals throughout the UK.. They jointly host a monthly residency at Manchester's premier Jazz venue 'The Cinnamon Club', and have also held residencies at Matt & Phreds, M/cr and various other Jazz-friendly venues in the North West.
